This smoothie doesn't just look good; it also boosts your vision. This is because blueberries are particularly rich in anthocyanins. These protect the delicate blood vessels in the eyes from free radicals. This blueberry chia smoothie has other benefits too, making it particularly suitable for dealing with diarrhea. And here is the recipe:
Ingredients for 2 people:
15 g chia seeds
100 g blueberries
5 mint leaves
1 banana
1/4 honeydew melon
1 splash of lemon juice
Preparation:
For the blueberry smoothie, stir the chia seeds into 125 ml of water and let them soak for 10–15 minutes. This creates a gel-like consistency. Then, wash the blueberries and the mint. Peel the banana and honeydew melon and cut them into pieces. Now add the blueberries, mint, banana, honeydew melon, and lemon juice into a blender. You can now add a tablespoon of the chia gel and approximately 200 ml of water and blend everything until smooth. You can use blackberries and blueberries for decoration. And the refreshingly delicious blueberry chia smoothie is ready. *
